orah ideals and actions presented properly can make a world of difference to our children. Conversely, ideas and actions which have no basis in the words of the Rabbis can destroy them.

There are opposing views taught within orthodox schools today - sometimes taught within the very same yeshiva. Many teachers acting as role models vary in their philosophies. Some actually do more harm than good by positioning themselves as that which students either do not desire to emulate, or do not imagine they can achieve - both set up the student for uncalled for disaster. To compound the problem, aside from Torah issues, teenagers experience very difficult times at their age, as they are becoming aware of themselves, and their multifaceted emotions. They include competition, masculinity and feminism, peer pressure, and many others. Some students fail, experiment with harmful drugs, have family clashes, and outlet their problems in a multitude of non productive methods.

How will students become firmly establish their adherence to what is best for them, to Torah?
Affording students a means for assistance in their educational issues could help.

Students today are very attracted to the internet. Perhaps using our web as an outlet, directed towards Torah education, we can harness the students' energies, and redirect it towards learning.

Over the past three years, Mesora has received hundreds of e-mailed questions from parents and students alike. Our medium of education is working, keeping the student attentive, and dealing with his or her true questions, in a private, and genuine medium.

If you feel after perusing our site that we may be of assistance to your students, inform your parents and the students themselves to visit our site, research our articles, and most importantly, interact with us by sending questions on any subject. If it is within the grasp of our experience, we will endeavor to answer them as soon as possible.

You may not agree with all of our findings and ideas, but Mesora will always respond based on accepted sources - the words of the Gemara, Chumash, Navi and Shulchan Aruch. Our thinking and objective rationality is what we offer.

The goal is to get children and students on the right path to a successful Torah lifestyle, and be productive members of our society.
To learn how we are approaching this problem, see our "Student Area" link at your left.

Please feel free to submit your concerns and questions, and guide your student and children to Mesora. With over 15 years of yeshiva educational experience, I feel Mesora will help.

Please direct your students to the "Student Area" page of this site, or print that page and give a copy to those who you feel will benefit from our assistance, or post on student activities boards.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Moshe Ben-Chaim
