Why are the 7 Noachide commands the system for Gentiles to follow? Do
you think it would be bad to try to understand life principles out of
the other laws of the Jews? Why or why not?

- Mesora: Gentiles
definitely benefit with the more commands they keep. Gentiles are no
less "man" than Jews are. We are both descendants of the
same man Noah. Perhaps, God wished that there are at the least, one
people who are entrusted with the correct ideas, to teach them to all
mankind. By entrusting one group, it does not mean that all others
will not benefit equally, it means that this was the minimum that
could be required. As a matter of fact, we say in our prayers that
ultimately, all the Earth will recognize the Torah.
